You are their relatives and close friends. You’ve come to pick up the shattered pieces of normalcy left in their wake in their quaint home, a small community they lead simultaneously welcoming and disconcerting.
A leader in their community, this person was loved in different ways by different people. Some ways you may never understand.
In this community is a solitary location you may never enter. Your loved one kept secrets inside.
Secrets with the power to kill.
You cannot resist the mystery’s beckoning.
You simply must know what your Loved One died trying to hide.
Some of you will die without ever knowing the truth. Some of you will live to regret it.

THIRTEEN is a familial horror story game by Adam Vass for 3-6 players. Inspired by movies like Hereditary, explore the dramatic relationships between characters in the wake of an immense loss, one that left behind a horrible secret that will ripple through your future. 

Explore an abstracted map with prompts per location. Uses player-generated prompts and skewed-probability randomization inspired by the Arkham Horror living card game that paces the game and splits the story into a dramatic & tense first half and a bloody & deadly second half.
