You are the actors, the directors, the writers, and the audience of your own stories. Together, weave stories of people searching for purpose, overcoming loss, and simply living using annotations from your favorite novels, poems, and lyrics for guidance.
To (Scratched Out) For Everything is a storytelling game for 2-5 players. To play, you need this zine, 12 six-sided dice, some notecards, and some books you love.
Designed by Adam Vass in Summer 2022 to accompany La Dispute’s Wildlife 10th anniversary tour.
Available in print as a 16-page full-color zine at worldchamp.io.
Shout out to The Sun’s Ransom by Pidj Sorensen, the inspiration for the Wall mechanic in this game, and Legend Has It by Adam Bell for the inspiration of integrating books into storytelling.
