Hey everyone, it has been about a year since the campaign for Cobwebs ended. I hope you've enjoyed the game! 

I've about run out of boxed sets of the game (with metal coin, custom dice, and some other nice features, though I think there may be a handful left at exalted funeral) and frankly I can't afford to reprint it out of pocket, so there is now an abridged physical format for Cobwebs available in the World Champ webstore! There are 90 of these bundles in stock that includes the rule book (no edits except it is now perfect bound softcover instead of staple-bound!) and a cloth play mat (sublimated instead of screen printed). You'll have to supply your own dice, tokens, and note cards to play, but this bundle is a bit cheaper than the boxed set. Since, if you're reading this, you either already have the boxed set OR just have the digital version, here is a code for $7 off the new bundle: THESHADOW. this code expires one month from today, March 17th 2021.

Next up, I've uploaded a new module and playmat designed by my friend and yours Alex Roberts! Alex decided to take a softer spin on Cobwebs, bringing a playset called "Bumble & The Forest Friends" about little woodland critters looking for their friends. This version renames a lot of the game terms in standard cobwebs to suit the lighter tone, so I designed a new playmat png for digital play that has all those variables already swapped out for you. The files are attached to this update but also available to everyone who purchased Cobwebs from the game's main itch.io listing. 

Speaking of Alex and nice woodland creatures, she is currently kickstarting a zine called Precious Little Animal as part of Zinequest3. Alex is a fantastic game designer and friend who has inspired me since we've known one another and I'm excited for these fun little critters and this kind solitaire game of reflection and positivity. Lastly, on the topic of Zinequest, I'll be throwing my hat in the ring on Monday Feb 22nd with my game AETHER OPERATIONS. It's a weird psychedelic trip through the four realms of Bone, Meat, Brain, and Spirit where you'll cleanse tainted Relics and annihilate powerful Keepers. The game is being published by Floating Chair Club as a 5x7" newsprint zine that unfolds to a 19x27" poster adventure with tons of gritty gonzo art throughout.
