New England Society For Paranormal Research: Containment Procedure Field Guide
A downloadable Field Guide
available in print at worldchamp.io/store
Founded in 1952 by world-famous paranormal researchers Ed & Lorraine Warren, the New England Society for Paranormal Research has been tasked for decades with researching, investigating, debunking, containing, and (on extremely rare occasions) exorcising evil forces from our material world. They have waged memorable battles against the most nefarious of demonic entities but sadly have both passed away, leaving their work incomplete.
Today, evil lurks in countless shadows in the periphery of everyday society with few strong or savvy enough to fight against it. That is why you have been called here: to continue their efforts in the everlong war against demons and prevent harm befalling the most innocent and vulnerable around us.
Welcome to The Society.
New England Society For Paranormal Research: Containment Procedure Field Guide is a tabletop roleplaying game for 1-5 rearchers tasked with researching, finding, and containing haunted relics in the absense of Ed & Lorraine Warren (real life infamous paranormal researchers and direct inspiration for The Conjuring films).
Includes procedures for forming your team of researchers, creating and finding haunted relics, and debriefing, as well as two example relic adventures for diving right in.
requires a standard deck of playing cards.
12p full color zine, 1-2 hour one-shot story game inspired by Nick Bate’s Stealing The Throne, Scott Malthouse’s This Is Where The Stars Died, Will Jobst’s and my Guide To Casting Phantoms In The Revolution, and many more.
